The theme for 2018 is “A New Dana Point of View.” The Board of Directors had their annual planning conference which brought new personalities and points of view to discussions. Chambers are measured by five core competencies: help to create and maintain a strong local economy, provide professional development/networking opportunities, promote the community, represent business before government, and political action.
With these competencies in mind, the Board identified four key goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic. These goals are:
- Be a stronger advocate for the business community
- Develop new programs and services for our members
- Enhance our marketing
- Put an emphasis on emerging young professionals
Fulfilling these goals will give YOU, our membership, a new point of view. The Chamber is your resource for all things business. We hope you are ready for your New Dana Point of View and ready to build a better business community.
