South Coast Water District’s Dana Point Town Center Water, Sewer and Storm Drain Improvement Project involves the installation of new water and sewer pipelines and storm drains in the City of Dana Point, on Pacific Coast Highway from Blue Lantern Street to Copper Lantern Street. (See map for additional information.)
Since construction began in September 2013, two of the three major portions of the project have been completed. The sewer lines and storm drains have been installed and the water line construction began this week. The entire project is proceeding on schedule and is estimated to be completed by early 2014.
In observance of the upcoming holidays, there will be no construction work affecting traffic on December 24, 25, 31, 2013 and January 1, 2014. On non-holidays, construction will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with two lanes of traffic available at all times.
