This year's Dana Point Chamber of Commerce 2008 Installation Awards Dinner, held at the Dana Point Yacht Club, was an amazing night. Orange County Supervisor, Pat Bates, swore in the new 2008 board of directors and presented each with an award for their service. The highlight of the evening was the awards and they went to: Citizens of the Year: Carlos and Georgelean Olvera ~~ Business of the Year: Ocean Institute ~~ Lifetime Citizen Acheivement Award: Scotty Smith, accepted by his dear wife Martie ~~ Ambassador of the Year: Judy Brandmeier ~~ Chairman's Award: Donna Rosanelli ~~ President's Award: Alan Wickstrom
